LulaRose has been the primary producer of decoration, colorization, embellishment and consultation to most of the world’s major mints and central banks for over 20 years now. We are responsible for the production of over 4 million coins annually.
We’ve been doing this for a very long time now
Right around the time VHS and cassette tapes were at their most popular, When vinyl records were the standard for listening to music and not a trendy accessory, we started what became LulaRose. Established in 2001, LulaRose was founded on the philosophy of creating beautiful, high quality products designed to create the ultimate consumer experience. From a small location just north of downtown Boston, we first began producing colorizing and embellishment techniques for the collector and circulation coin industry. In 2015, we moved to a new state-of-the-art facility, which allowed for the close monitoring and control of the environment in our clean room print area. With the ability to control variables such as humidity and temperature control, we were able to focus more time and energy on creativity and expanding our capabilities.
Known for the highest quality standards, LulaRose has developed proprietary print techniques and processes that include color management and registration, as well as the development of custom equipment and materials to ensure that our coins look their absolute best. Our proprietary processes allow us to offer our customers unique effects like multi-colored glow, shimmer and color reveal effects. With continuous process improvement, research and development, LulaRose remains the preeminent creator of ideas and applications for the enhancement and beautification of base and precious metal coins in the world today.
2020 will go down as the most unique year any of us will have lived through. As business owners it caused us to refocus, retrain and retool for the next phase of what will become our companies great history. Taking our previously designed coin displays and turning them into something truly desirable across a much broader demographic. We have invested in new equipment and new people so that just as we have with the provision of coin printing and embellishment services, our displays will become the new standard for innovation and creativity…watch this space.
