coin Displays that tell a story

First and foremost…this is who we are

Throughout this site, you’ll see references to things like lucky coins, The Fairy Bank and other mystical creatures. We like to think that all coins have a unique story to tell and that if packaged correctly we can create a truly incredible connection.

Take our Irish punt coin for example. On its own, just a coin. Its pretty cool, a really nice item to have for sure. Lots of history and will only become more intriguing as time goes by. It can be passed down to a new generation, regifted or maybe even sold. But I bet you this, when you get a coin it will come in a box, something inexpensive. You will show it off to a few people and then, just like everyone else, the coin gets put into a drawer. Over the years you will come across it and the memories and meaning behind it will come rushing back, that moment of nostalgia that you get to enjoy before being snapped back into focus, ‘what was it I was searching for again?’. You put the coin back and move on with your day. The coin has no doubt been gifted by someone who loves and cares about you. It has been specially selected, chosen from an endless list of gift options because they felt this was a truly unique present, so let’s get it out of that dark drawer!

As you can see from the picture, our coins come in a beautiful perspective display - meaning it is encapsulated between two layers of crystal clear acrylic. These have been printed using very sophisticated techniques that we have developed over 30 years.

We are sure you will agree, the result is a magnificent immersive experience. Imagine what it was like for these iron workers, sitting there eating lunch. We know at least two of them were Irish. Where were they from, what were their individual thoughts, hopes and dreams? Were they scared, they certainly didn’t look as though they were?  What became of them, their families?

Our Irish coin encapsulated in this display will never end up in a drawer. It will be put on show, a shelf at home, office desk, front and center displayed with pride. It will be a conversation piece, a statement of who you are and your heritage. A superb combination of imagery and history that will become invaluable as the years roll by.

We create the perfect display for your Coins

The Interesting coins we use…

eisenhower dollar coin

Produced from 1971 - 1978, the Eisenhower Dollar was the first copper-nickel clad coin issued by the United States Mint. The coin serves to commemorate President Eisenhower after his death in 1969. Inspired by the Apollo 11 mission, the original image was of an eagle clutching an olive branch under the moon. However, coins struck between 1975-1976 depict an image from an art student who won a design contest that portrays the Liberty Bell and the moon.

Irish Punt Coin - 1 Pound

The Irish Punt coin had a value of one pound. It was used in Ireland from 20 June 1990 until its formal adoption of euro currency in 2002. The last issue of the coin was minted in 2000.

The coin was the largest Irish coin since decimalization: its diameter was 3.11 centimeters (1.22 in) and its mass was 10 grams (0.35 oz.). The coin was almost identical in dimensions to the old penny coin that circulated until 1971. The edge was milled, and a dotted line ran along the edge of each face.

Casino Token / Coin

For years, U.S. Silver Dollar had traditionally been used in Nevada on the gaming tables and in dollar slot machines, as well as for general monetary purposes.

in 1965 the Nevada Gaming Commission passed a regulation permitting the casinos, for the first time, to issue their own private dollar denomination metal tokens.
